Father Vince O'Malley (GCHS '63) Receives Thomas G. Stewart III Award for Service

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (November 20, 2017)(CNBNewsnet)--Father Vincent O'Malley, a member of the 1963 Class of GCHS and a native of Paulsboro, was presented his award by Bill Popjoy, Alumni Association President on Sunday, November 19th in Monsignor Lucitt Hall.
Father O'Malley, a Vincentian priest and former Executive Vice President of Niagara University in Buffalo, currently serves as Campus Chaplain there, where he has a long history of distinguished service to the University. He was also a former pastor of St. Joseph's Parish in Emmittsburg, Maryland.
Father has written six books on the lives of the saints. He has visited 60 countries in research done for his books. Two of Father's sisters, Fran and Helen, and many of his 1963 classmates, were honored to be present to see Father Vince receive his award and to hear him give thanks to Gloucester Catholic for the excellent life-serving advice he received there.
