Drug Raid in Gloucester City Nets Narcotics, Cash and Weapon; Three Suspects Are Arrested

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (October 30, 2017)--On the morning of October 28, 2017 the Gloucester City Police Department Detective Bureau, Directed Patrol Unit, K9 Unit and Camden County Sheriff’s Department S.E.R.T. Team executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Ridgeway Street, culminating an investigation into the distribution of narcotics from the residence. As a result, a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, hashish, drug packaging equipment and materials, a .357 magnum revolver, ammunition and U.S. currency were seized.
Howard E. Reed (38), a resident of the address and target of the investigation, was arrested at the scene. He was charged with two counts each of possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute, distribution within 500 feet of public housing and distribution within 1000 feet of a school. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was remanded to Camden County Jail to await a detention hearing.
Also arrested on location were Todd B. DiCarlo (37) and Stephanie L. Hunt (38), both residents. DiCarlo was charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession for a hypodermic syringe. He was remanded to Camden County Jail on numerous outstanding warrants. Hunt was found to be a fugitive from justice wanted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Department. She was also remanded to Camden County Jail. Officers involved with this investigation were:
