CAMDEN CITY, NJ--Duron Abdullah, 47, of Pennsauken, and Morris Clark, 50, of Merchantville, were charged with Felony Murder for the beating death of Kyle Bell on September 12, 2017.

A witness told detectives that Abdullah and Clark entered an apartment on the 1200 block of Morton Avenue and attempted to rob the victim. The witness said they heard the assault from upstairs. Abdullah and Clark fled, leaving the victim unconscious.
When medical personnel arrived, they rushed Kyle Bell to Cooper University Hospital where he received treatment until he died two days later.
Abdulla and Clark were both charged on Thursday, September 28, 2017 with one count of first degree Felony Murder according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.
Duron Abdullah was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility after police arrested him this morning. Morris Clark is being held at Camden County Correctional Facility. Both defendants are pending a pretrial detention hearing. Under the recent Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order they be detained without bail or released with conditions.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
