Christopher Cummings, 24, of Camden City Dies From Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Mark Davis, 40, of Camden City Shot Several Times on September 16 Has Died

CAMDEN CITY, NJ --Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Screen Shot 2016-12-13 at 14.15.08Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a shooting which resulted in the death of a Camden man.

Camden County Police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a man shot in the Ablett Village apartment complex in the city on September 16, 2017 at approximately 10:29 p.m.

When officers arrived, they located the victim, Mark Davis, 40, of Camden, on the sidewalk alive but suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mark Davis was transported by EMS to Cooper University Hospital where he was receiving treatment. On Wednesday, September 27, 2017 he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at approximately 1:37 a.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
