Brooklawn Police Arrest Suspects for Outstanding Warrants, Marijuana Pos. and Drunk Driving

Brooklawn Police Department Crime report September 22 to September 28.
- On 09/22/2017, Officer Nicholas stopped a motor vehicle on New Broadway in the area of New Jersey Rd. for an equipment violation. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, the passenger, Amanda Galanti(30) a resident of Westville, NJ was found to have active warrants out for her arrest out of Gloucester and Camden City. Ms. Galanti was also found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle. She was transported to police headquarters, processed, issued a criminal summons, and released on her own recognizance with a pending municipal court date.
On 09/22/2017, Officer Brewster stopped a motor vehicle on New Broadway in the area of Chestnut St. for a moving violation. The driver, Jon Donahue (64) a resident of Collingswood, NJ was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Mr. Donahue was also found to have an active warrant out for his arrest out of West Deptford, NJ. Mr. Donahue was later released to a sober adult after processing, and being issued numerous traffic summonses. Mr. Donahue has pending court appearance at Brooklawn Municipal Court.- On 09/23/2017, Detectuve Stires stopped Joseph Stocklos(22) a resident of Bellmawr, NJ for jaywalking in the 700 block of Browning Rd. Mr. Stocklos was found to have an active warrant out for his arrest out of Camden City. Mr. Stocklos was arrested, processed, and released on his own recognizance with a new court date.
On 09/24/2017, Officer Nicholas received a report of a male selling narcotics out of an apartment in the 100 block of New Broadway. During the course of the investigation, Brian Maine(26) a resident of Brooklawn, NJ was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Maine was processed, issued a criminal summons, and released with a pending municipal court date.
On 09/26/2017, Officer McKenney stopped a motor vehicle on Southbound Route 130 for an equipment violation. During the investigation of the stop, the driver, Hector Morales(38) a resident of Somerdale, NJ was found to be wanted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Officer. Mr. Morales was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of bail after being arrested and processed.- All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
