Algae Bloom Closes Amwell Lake

NJ Fish and Wildlife released July 29, 2017


Due to the presence of a suspected algae bloom (Cyanobacteria) which can be harmful to people and pets at Amwell Lake, all contact with the lake's water should be avoided. Fish caught in the lake should not be consumed. Updates will be posted on the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife's Facebook page, website and send via follow-up messages.
