13-Year-Old Middle Township Boy Dies; Cause of Death Unknown Pending Toxicology Report

Cape May Court House, New Jersey - Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and Middle Township Police Chief Christopher Leusner sadly announce the death of a 13-year-old resident of the Rio Grande section of Middle Township.

On June 4, 2017, at approximately 10:12 AM, Middle Township Patrol Officers responded to an address in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township where a 13-year-old boy, identified as Vincent Weiner, was found dead at his residence. An investigation was immediately initiated by detectives from the Middle Township Police Department Major Crimes Unit, Cape May County Prosecutor's Office and members of the Prosecutor's Office Crime Scene Unit.

On June 5, 2017, a autopsy was completed by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office and the cause and manner of death have been listed as undetermined pending a toxicology report.

Prosecutor Taylor advises that this is an ongoing investigation and this incident continues to be investigated by detectives from the Prosecutor's Office and the Middle Township Police Department.
