Hope D. Henkel, of West Deptford; formerly of Gloucester City, GHS Alumnus Class of 73

Henkel "Aunt Hopie" age 61, of West Deptford formerly of Gloucester City, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.  Born in Camden she was a graduate of Gloucester City High School Class of 1973.  She worked for Fidelity Bank and currently worked for Surety Lenders as a Transaction Coordinator.  Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends as well as serving her church.

Hope is survived by sister, Gloria Ritchie (John), nieces & nephews, Christine Ferguson (Dave Cummings), Kelly Martino (Jason), Michael Ferguson (Jessica), Kimberly Ritchie, Lisa Ritchie, and Laurie Coates (Zachary), brother-in-law, Brian Ferguson, her longtime friend John Murray, and many great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, Gloria & George Henkel, and her sister, Gayle Ferguson.

Family & Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Saturday, June 3rd, at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 230 N. Evergreen Ave. Woodbury, NJ where a memorial service will be held at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.  Memories & Condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
