Haddon Heights Programs is excited for the Spring Session to start on April 10th.

 The community of Haddon Heights NJ released the following information about programs being offered to residents beginning April 10.

We have many great classes for you to check out including options to get in shape, learn a new hobby, improve your nutrition and expand your investing knowledge, helping to care for aging parents, and much more!

Our Spring Session will run 12 weeks starting April 10th and ending July 1st. With these new longer sessions we are offering the option with some of our classes to split your class payment into two installments. Payment information can be found on class registration flyers or you can contact the program coordinator for all the information.

Our adult classes for the Spring include, Vegan Cooking, Beginner Knitting, Pickleball, Acting for Fun and Fame, Zumba, Abs & Lower Body, Low Impact Circuit Training, Yoga and Tai Chi. On Saturday April 29th we are also hosting World Tai Chi Day at our Community Center. This FREE event starts at 10:00am. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a seasoned practitioner, just starting out, or if you are interested in seeing what Tai Chi is all about, we hope you will be able to join us.

Our kids programs include many favorites and also many exciting new classes being offered. There is something for every child, from cooking classes, acting classes, golf or tennis lessons, Snapology, Yoga and Dance! We are also going to be offering a new Babysitter Certification class from the YMCA on Saturday May 13th from 9:30-2:30, sign up soon space is limited. All of the program flyers are available on the borough website or in the printed brochure. We also have tried to include many of our summer “camp” program information on our website for any parent looking to plan ahead to the summer session.

Our Seniors can always enjoy the free clubs in our Community Center Senior Room, including Bridge Club, Pinochle Club and Mahjongg Club. See our Senior Programs Flyer for specific dates and times for all of the clubs! We also are in the process of scheduling many Free Workshops. Join us as we learn about eating better and losing weight, managing your investments, caring for aging loved ones and much more!
