Effie M. Hagan, Member of Gloucester City Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary; GHS Class of 1952 Alumnus

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (March 24, 2017)--Mrs. Effie M. Hagan,(nee Harker) age 6a00d8341bf7d953ef01a3fcef1127970b-800wi 82 of Gloucester City died on March 22, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. 

Effie was a graduate of Gloucester High School’s class of 1952. She worked for 40 years for GE, RCA and retired from Lockheed Martin in Moorestown. Effie was a longtime member of Gloucester City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

 

Loving wife of 65 years to William R. Hagan, Sr. Loving mother of William R. Hagan, Jr. (Dawn), Brian P. Hagan (Anne) and Michael J. Hagan (Jennifer). Predeceased by her children, Charles A. Hagan and Margaret Hagan; her parents, Chalie and Effie Harker and her grandson, Charles A. Hagan, Jr. Cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 11. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sunday night, March 26th, from 6 to 8 PM and again on Monday morning, March 27th from 8:30 to 9:45 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City.  Mass of Christian Burial Monday morning at 10:30 AM in St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
