PHILADELPHIA PA (March 28, 2017)--The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Catechetical Formation will sponsor a conference celebrating the 25th anniversary of the catechism of the Catholic Church. Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will lead off the day with an opening prayer.

The keynote presentations focus on the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and will be given by the following national recognized speakers: Jeff Cavins, author and founding host of EWTN’s “Life on the Rock,”; Dr. Scott Hahn, author of Rome Sweet Home and professor at Franciscan University of Steubenville; Mother Assumpta Long, O.P., Prioress General and one of four founding members of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist; Matthew Bunson, author and Senior Contributer for EWTN News; Dr. Deborah Savage, Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Saint Paul's Seminary School of Divinity; and Jonathan Reyes, Executive Director of the Department of Justice, Peace, and Human Development for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
