Who will get this money the people affected by the contamination or the city of gloucester?
How come we are just hearing about the contaminated water problem? How long ago did this happen? How long have we been drinking this water? Where all the residents drinking this water or was it limited to a specific section? And if so what area? Will the City still need to float a $4 million bond to improve the water works or will this money be used to make the repairs?
I grew up in Gloucester. First I heard about Asbestos that I lived behind and played around then there was the contamination at the Swim Club and now this. I wonder which will do me in? Now I know why I glow at night. Wonderful!
Why didn't this information show up in the drinking water quality reports published by Fred Schindler?
This makes me so angry! First, all the contaminated areas through out the town, so bad, that homes are being dug up down to the foundations. Then, The gloucester city swim club, the contamination was found in the cement of the pools, all those years that kids went swimming in that mess. now its the water people are drinking! It is a no wonder there is so much Cancer in Gloucester! When will it end? whats next?

You act like this contamination is something new that was done in the last 20 years by somebody who is still alive to blame it on...Get real...it was all dumped in those spots last CENTURY by a gas lantern company right here in Gloucester City when the term "radioactive material" was not even part of the English language until 60 years later. The problem is still being discovered and rectified as it has been since they started these clean ups several years ago...
