Over 80 vendors and 20 plus classic cars made it out to line the booming West Kings Highway for the awesome event that was presented by the Mount Ephraim Celebrations Committee.  Many attendee's filled the streets for most of the day as they strolled along to check out all of the happenings on the main thorough fair in town.

Car Show and Craft Vendor door prizes were given out every hour.  Car Show trophies were given out for several different categories shortly after 1 o'clock.  The Emergency Management and Zone 5 Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) had several displays and informative literature available.  The police department had their D.A.R.E. car on display and also had literature on the recently formed town watch program in addition to controlling traffic around Kings Highway on this busy day.

The fire department, as part of their April Awareness Open House, had several smoke detector and home fire safety demonstrations during the day.  The most favorite is always the smoke house trailer.  In addition, a fire house jeopardy event and a hose rolling competition was held for the kids.  The Fire Awareness Poster Winners, the Police D.A.R.E. Contest Winners and the Little League Bike Drawing were announced through-out the day.  MEPRI EMS provided EMS bike patrols along the strip to the several hundred people that came out through the course of the day.

MEFD Firefighter Julian D'Alonzo shows children how to operate a hose line to extinguish "a fire". The MEFD and visiting companies displayed equipment along with the Mount Ephraim Emergency Management & Zone 5 Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) for their Annual April Awareness Fire Prevention Day.  Mount Ephraim Police were also on hand to provide information on their D.A.R.E. Program and the newly formed Town Watch Program.  M.E.P.R.I. E.M.S. also provided a first aid station for the day.

Special thank you goes out to the entertainers who performed through-out the day; the Audubon High School Choir, John Gugel, Bill Corbett and Russell Spera. Sacred Heart Church for the use of their parking lot.  Jamie Herman for designing the tee-shirts.  Tara Eggers for designing the event flyer's.  Thank you also to the residents and business owners along Kings Highway for their cooperation in a day that turned out perfect for the entire community.

Last but not least, all of the days events would not have been possible without all of the countless hours of meetings and planning that were needed to put this event together by the Celebrations Committee.  The Mount Ephraim Celebration Committee has recently been reorganized.  The organization is comprised of citizens of Mount Ephraim that want to build a better community.  They have set numerous goals to help bring the "small" community together as one. they hope they you will "Come Grow With Us!"
