CRIME REPORT: Gloucester City Police Kept Busy with Arresting Fugitives and Illegal Drug Users

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ-- Gloucester City Police report the following incidents during the period of February 14 through February 23.
February 14 (2:40 pm) A traffic stop on Nicholson Road at Temple Avenue conducted by Ptl. Sean Saunders and Tim Ryder resulted in the arrests of the following individuals: Jacqueline Kittell (37), a resident of the 300 block of Hudson Street, was arrested on a warrant from Runnemede and additionally charged with possession of CDS (prescription medication), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes.
After processing, she was remanded to Camden County Jail pending a detention hearing. Michael J. DiFelice (44), a resident of the 300 block of Hudson Street, was arrested on warrants from Collingswood and Westville and released on bail after processing. Clinton S. Saunders III (26), a resident of the 300 block of Hudson Street, was arrested on warrants from Camden City, Hi-Nella and Collingswood and released on bail after processing.
February 14 (2:45 pm) Thomas A. Mason (50), a resident of Camden, was arrested on Broadway at Bergen Street by Sgt. Jim Little on warrants from Keansburg and Perth Amboy. After processing, he was turned over to Keansburg Police.
February 14 (4:29 pm) Robert M. Sharp (33), a resident of the 200 block of Morris Street, was arrested on Broadway at King Street by Cpl. Bill Lessig on a warrant from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department. After processing, he was remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post bail.
February 14 (7:08 pm) Timothy C. Stratton (38), a resident of the 200 block of Mercer Street, was arrested at his residence by Cpl. Bill Johnson on warrants from Barrington. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 17 (7:30 am) Michael J. Daley (19), a resident of the 300 block of Market Street, was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Jim Little on a warrant from the Camden County Sheriff’s Department. After processing, he was turned over to Camden County Sheriffs.
February 17 (11:15 am) Kristine Stuart (37), a resident of Westville, was arrested on Broadway at Mercer Street by Sgt. Jim Little due to the fact she was a fugitive from justice wanted by the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department. She was additionally charged with possession of CDS (prescription medication) and released on bail after processing.
February 17 (2:44 pm) Miguel A. Paulino (21), a resident of Carneys Point, was arrested on Broadway at Hunter Street by Sgt. Jim Little on a warrant from Carneys Point. He was additionally charged with possession of CDS (marijuana) and driving on a suspended license. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 18 (1:50 pm) David M. Clark (34), a resident of the 300 block of S. Broadway, was arrested on S. Broadway at Center Street by Ptl. Robert Saunders III due to the fact he was a fugitive from justice wanted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Department. After processing, he was remanded to Camden County Jail without bail.
February 18 (8:15 pm) Stephen M. Allen (54), a resident of Camden, was arrested on Broadway at Hudson Street by Cpl. Bill Johnson on a warrant from Brooklawn. After processing, he was released on bail. Lawrence J. Smith (54), a resident of the 100 block of N. Broadway, was arrested on warrants from Brooklawn and Deptford Twp. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 18 (10:25 pm) Ptl. Mike Calzonetti and K9 Blitz were on patrol when they came across a male staggering in the middle of the street on Essex Street at N. Filmore. Upon speaking with the male, he advised that he had been walking while texting and walked into a utility pole, hitting his head. He was offered medical attention but refused. Jose L. Santos (46), a resident of Woodbury, was then found to have a warrant from Gloucester Twp. Mr. Santos was additionally charged with possession of CDS (cocaine) and remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post bail.
February 19 (11:43 am) John L. Ash (61), a resident of the 600 block of Division Street, was arrested on Broadway at Market Street by Cpl. Bill Lessig on warrants from Gloucester City. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 19 (7:15 pm) Thomas J. Peele (21), a resident of the 100 block of N. King Street, was arrested on S. Broadway at Powell Street by Ptl. George Spingler on a warrant from Gloucester Twp. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 19 (7:50 pm) Jon N. Teixeira (23), a resident of the 700 block of Powell Street, was arrested at Police Headquarters by Ptl. George Spingler on warrants from Camden City. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 20 (9:50 am) Officers were dispatched to Broadway at Market Street for a report of an overdose on an N.J. Transit bus. Upon arrival, Ptl. Ben McKinney found the male passenger on the bus unconscious and unresponsive. He administered one dose of Naloxone and the victim regained consciousness. He was transported to an area hospital for further treatment.
February 20 (1:22 pm) A traffic stop on Essex Street at Collings Avenue conducted by DSgt. Carl DePoder and Det. Keith O’Donnell resulted in the arrest of Shawn R. Mancini (18), a resident of Haddon Twp. He was charged with possession of CDS (marijuana) and released after processing.
February 20 (8:37 pm) An officer responded to Dollar General on S. Broadway for a reported shoplifting. Upon arrival, it was determined that a female concealed a bottle of laundry detergent in her purse and left the store without paying. Video surveillance footage was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.
February 21 (12:20 pm) Officers responded to Jersey Avenue at 5th. Street to assist Westville Police with a stolen vehicle they had tracked to that location. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver of the stolen vehicle, Joely Thomas (47), a resident of Willingboro. She was charged with possession of CDS (crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. After processing, she was turned over to Westville Police.
February 21 (3:41 pm) A traffic stop on S. Broadway at Koehler Street conducted by Ptl. Tim Ryder and Sean Saunders resulted in the arrest of Robert D. Parker (32), a resident of Burlington. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released after processing.
February 21 (4:58 pm) Pedro A. Hornedo (48), a resident of the 700 block of Market Street, was arrested on N. Broadway at King Street by Ptl. Shea O’Donnell and Sgt. Ken Iepson. He was charged with possession of CDS (heroin) and released after processing.
February 22 (8:45 am) Andrea E. Chirico (49), a resident of Turnersville, was arrested on King Street at Middlesex by Ptl. Robert Saunders III on a warrant from Deptford. After processing, she was released on bail.
February 22 (2:03 pm) Gregory A. Poticher (31), a resident of the 300 block of Monmouth Street, was arrested on N. Broadway at King Street by Det. Keith O’Donnell and DSgt. Carl DePoder on a warrant from West Deptford. He was additionally charged with possession of CDS (crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. After processing, he was turned over to West Deptford Police.
February 22 (2:01 pm) Justin T. Camac (25), a resident of Bellmawr, was arrested on Highland Blvd. at Rosalind Avenue by Ptl. Shea O’Donnell on warrants from Gloucester City, Camden City, Brooklawn, and Westville. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 22 (4:31 pm) Timothy M. Pettit (35), a resident of the 800 block of Cumberland Street, was arrested on Champion Road at Somerset Street on warrants from Gloucester City and Camden City. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 22 (4:40 pm) Terence B. McSweeney (46), a resident of Camden, was arrested on Broadway at Somerset Street by Sgt. Ken Iepson on a warrant from Sayreville. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 22 (8:08 pm) Charles M. Miller (31), a resident of Westville, was arrested on N. Broadway at King Street by Ptl. Shea O’Donnell and Tim Ryder on a warrant from Harrison Twp. He was additionally charged with possession of CDS (crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 22 (9:24 pm) Jose L. Santos (46), a resident of Woodbury, was arrested on Broadway at Mercer Street by Ptl. Barb Kane on a warrant from Lindenwold. He was additionally charged with possession of CDS (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. After processing, he was released on bail.
February 23 (8:40 am) A traffic stop on N. Broadway at Mercer Street conducted by DSgt. Carl DePoder and Inv. Joe Hopkins resulted in the arrests of the following individuals: Joshua Crockett (35) and Tanya M. Rhoads (35), both residents of Maryland, were charged with possession of CDS (heroin and methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. Both were released after processing.
February 23 (7:00 pm) A resident of the 300 block of Bergen Street reported sometime during the previous day, her bicycle was stolen from outside of her residence. The investigation is ongoing.
In addition, officers conducted (120) traffic stops, (382) property/business checks and (14) school visits. Officers made (37) arrests, investigated (8) motor vehicle crashes, (8) domestic disputes and impounded (6) abandoned vehicles. Officers issued (61) criminal charges and (41) traffic citations between February 10th. and February 16th.
