Popular Jersey Shore band, The Nerds, to perform at PIANJ, PIANY Annual Conference

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The well-known Jersey Shore band, The Nerds, will provide the music at the Poolside Reception at the PIANJ/PIANY Annual Conference being held June 11-13 at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. The reception will be held, Monday, June 12. The event is the largest insurance conference in the Northeast.
The Nerds have been performing for more than 25 years, playing a mix of classic rock and soul. In the fall of 2000, they hosted MTV’s Ultimate Cover Band Contest as the house band. They performed throughout the show as other bands competed in an elimination contest. In addition to appearing on MTV, they have been guests on The View; Carson Daly and numerous others.
Their posters have been seen on episodes of the TV show Law & Order. They also have played many celebrity events for A&E, The Ed Show and Book of Daniel. They have shared a stage with Sheryl Crow, Hootie and the Blowfish, Earth Wind and Fire, Maroon 5, and many more. They have performed for countless political figures and have been joined onstage by members of the New York Giants, New York Yankees, New Jersey Nets and several NASCAR champions. They’ve also appeared with Jon Bon Jovi, members of Twisted Sister, Dickie Betts of the Allman Brothers, Billy Joel’s band and Letterman’s Late Night band.
