Gloucester City Police Issued 42 Criminal Charges, 45 Traffic Citations between Dec. 30 and Jan. 5

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ January 6, 2016 (CNBNewsnet)--The Gloucester City Police Department released their weekly crime dispatch today. The following incidents were reported:
December 30 (9:35 am) Russell D. Cogill (37), a resident of Sicklerville, was arrested for trespassing on the Conrail property near Essex Street. He was found to have several outstanding warrants for his arrest as well. He was later released on bail.
December 31 (2:25 am) Timothy M. Pettit (35), a resident of the 800 block of Cumberland Street, was arrested on Railroad Avenue at Middlesex Street due to the fact he had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was subsequently charged with possession of CDS (heroin) and possession of imitation CDS. He was later released on bail.
January 2 (12:13 pm) Scott D. Carey (24), a resident of Camden, was arrested on N. Broadway at King Street due to the fact he had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was later released on bail.
January 3 (5:58 pm) Joseph R. Lafferty (20), a resident of the 300 block of Market Street, was arrested in the unit block of S. Sussex Street due to the fact he had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was later released on bail.
January 4 (7:17 am) A resident of the 200 block of N. Willow Street reported sometime overnight, her car was stolen from Essex Street at N. Willow Street. The car was recovered in Camden later that afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
January 4 (11:55 pm) Josh M. Allen (30), a resident of the 300 block of Hunter Street, was arrested on Broadway at Market Street for disorderly conduct. He was later released.
January 5 (12:04 am) Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Rt. 130 at Market Street. While investigating the crash, the driver of one of the vehicles was found to be in possession of marijuana. Maraj A. Martins (21), a resident of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with possession of CDS.
January 5 (1:05 pm) A traffic stop on Broadway at Morris Street led to the arrests of the following individuals: Pater G. Facciolini (35), a resident of the 200 block of N. Broadway, was found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest and was driving on a suspended license. He was later released on bail. Kristina Kaelin (26), a resident of Voorhees, was charged with possession of CDS (heroin and crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released.
January 5 (5:45 pm) An officer responded to the Liquor Barn for a reported shoplifting. Upon arrival, it was determined that a white male wearing blue jeans and a red hooded sweatshirt entered the store and stole a pack of cigarettes. Surveillance video was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.
In addition, officers conducted (57) traffic stops and (252) property/business checks. Officers made (15) arrests, investigated (6) motor vehicle crashes, (14) domestic disputes and impounded (3) abandoned vehicles. Officers issued (42) criminal charges and (45) traffic citations between December 30th. and January 5th.
