West Deptford Police Crime Log Dec. 7 through Dec. 19; Seven Arrested on CDS Charges

Arrests:

On 12.07.2016, Kaitlin M. Hesser, 18, of West Deptford was arrested on Red Bank Avenue for Screen Shot 2016-12-21 at 13.34.59possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a summons and released pending further court action.

On 12.09.2016, Diane R. Roberts, 25, of Logan Township was arrested on Harvest Drive for possession of CDS and possession of marijuana. She was issued summonses and released pending further court action.

On 12.09.2016, Nereida Cruz, 19, of Sewell was arrested on Route 45 for outstanding warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. She satisfied bail requirements and was released pending further court action.

On 12.10.2016, Richard W. Breeden III, 41, of Pennsville, NJ was arrested for hindering apprehension and outstanding warrants. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility.

On 12.11.2016, Andrea L. Purvenas, 36, of West Deptford was arrested on Crown Point Road for obstruction of justice and driving while intoxicated. She was issued summonses and released pending further court action.

On 12.12.2016, Justin Ohare, 28, of West Deptford was arrested on Raphael Place for violation of a court order. He satisfied bail requirements and was released pending further court action.

On 12.13.2016, Marissa L. Jarrell, 20, of Gibbstown was arrested on Rt. 45 for possession of CDS, possession of marijuana, and outstanding warrants. She satisfied bail requirements and was released pending further court action.

On 12.15.2016, Nathan L. Brooks Jr, 30, of West Deptford was arrested on Clubhouse Drive for simple assault, terroristic threats, and criminal mischief. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility.

On 12.16.2016, Lester Clements, 60, of Penns Grove and Willie L. Walker, 61, of Penns Grove were arrested following a motor vehicle stop on I-295. Linwood was charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. Clements was charged with possession of CDS. Both were issued summonses and released pending further court action.

On 12.17.2016, Allen W, Levy, 35, of West Deptford was arrested on Lauderdale Road for possession of CDS, failure to surrender CDS, and outstanding warrants. He satisfied bail requirements and was released pending further court action.

On 12.18.2016, Richard A. Knapp, 44, of West Deptford was arrested on Westwood Drive for simple assault. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the the Salem County Correctional Facility.

On 12.18.2016, Christopher Sheehan, 46, of West Deptford was arrested on Shannon Lane for assault on police, terroristic threats, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, and false public alarms. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility.

Other Incidents:

On 12.07.2016, it was reported that a cellular telephone was stolen from a parking lot on Red Bank Avenue.

On 12.07.2016, it was reported that several prescription medications were stolen from a purse that was left unattended at the Red Bank Battlefield.

On 12.08.2016, it was reported that a cellular telephone was stolen from the Riverwinds Community Center. The phone was recovered in the parking lot, however, it was found to be damaged.

On 12.10.2016, a resident of Milton Avenue reported that a window of her residence was broken by a rock.

On 12.09.2016, it was reported that a package was stolen from the front step of a residence on Victorian Way. A subsequent investigation lead to Edward T. Neilio, 27, of Deptford being arrested for theft. He was issued a summons and released pending further court action.

On 12.09.2016, there was a residential burglary reported at a residence on Lincoln Avenue in National Park. An outside window was broken and entry was gained into the home, where electronics and cash were removed from the interior. A subsequent investigation lead to the arrests of Christian A. Capacchione, 23, of National Park and Taylor K. Nestor, 19, of Gloucester City. They were each charged with Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief, and Conspiracy. Nestor satisfied bail requirements and was released pending further court action, Capacchione was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility.

On 12.14.2016, a resident of Heather Ridge Apartments reported that someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole prescription medications.

On 12.15.2016, a resident of Highbridge Lane reported that someone stole prescription medications from their residence.

On 12.15.2016, it was reported that there was an attempted burglary to a vacant residence on Jessup Road. A lock had been damaged, however, no entry was made into the residence.

On 12.16.2016, it was reported that a business on Crown Point Road had an overhead door intentionally damaged.

On 12.16.2016, a resident of Crown Point Road reported that someone stole numerous jewelry, silverware, tools, and collectable items from their residence.

On 12.17.2016, it was reported that several vehicles had paintballs thrown at them on Moore Road. None of the vehicles sustained any permanent damage. Two (2) juveniles were apprehended and held responsible for their roles in the incident.

On 12.19.2016, a resident of W. First Avenue reported that someone stole cash from the inside of their residence.
