Guided walks in the Hidden Valley area of Higbee Beach WMA are being offered monthly by NJ Audubon in cooperation with the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife.

Part of the world-famous Higbee Beach Wildlife Management Area, Hidden Valley is a mix of varied habitats, from field edges to wetland woods. This diversity is reflected in the array of birds you can encounter here, depending on season, including sparrows, warblers, hawks,

waterbirds, and even the possibility of an owl. Meet at the small clamshell parking lot on the south side of New England Rd., 0.3 miles west of the intersection with Bayshore Road. This monthly free walk is sponsored by the New Jersey Division of Fish & Wildlife.
