CNB CRIME: Pennsylvania Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Files Drug Charges Against 17

HARRISBURG — Attorney General Bruce R. Beemer today announced the filing of criminal charges against 17 individuals charged in connection with investigations that focused on the distribution of heroin, crack cocaine and other illicit drugs in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.
Agents from the Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics Investigation worked jointly with municipal police officers as part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force.
The investigations included various controlled purchases of drugs. In many cases, investigators utilized confidential informants to make these purchases.
The investigations were conducted in Plum, Penn Hills, New Kensington, Arnold, Vandergrift and Frazer Township, among other areas. The investigations are ongoing and additional arrests are likely.
Attorney General Beemer thanked the following police agencies for their work on the investigations:

The individuals charged in connection with these investigations were being sought today on active arrest warrants. A collaborative warrant sweep was planned involving agents from the Office of Attorney General and municipal police departments in these communities.
The following is a list of the individuals charged, their last known addresses and the charges they face:
Jermaine Cook, 41, of the 1400 block of 3rd Ave., Arnold, is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (crack cocaine).
Von Eric McMillan, 22, of McCargo St., New Kensington, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin).
John P. Stapinski, 46, of the 300 block of Camp Ave., Arnold, is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (crack cocaine).
Erik L. Green, 48, of the 800 block of Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (cocaine).
Taquan Wright, 24, of the 300 block of Ridge Ave., New Kensington, is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin).
Devon Andrew Koch, 24, of the 1100 block of 5th Ave., New Kensington, is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin).
Christopher Andrew Mystkowski, 27, of the 1100 block of 5th Ave., New Kensington, is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin).
Ralph Scott, 28, of the 400 block of 4th Ave., New Kensington, is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin).
Laron Marqese Scott, 25, of the 1300 block of Leishman Ave., New Kensington, is charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin).
Dominique Jamare Robinson, 28, of the 800 block of Wallace St., Vandergrift, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance (heroin).
Richard Alsberry, 41, of the 100 block of Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine).
Michael Johnson-Barber, 28, of the 1600 block of Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, is charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Deron Howell, 24, of the 2400 block of Woodstock Ave., Swissvale, is charged with three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Dominic Tavella, 27, of the 500 block of Center Hill Road, Pittsburgh, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia (heroin).
Trivan Brian Griffey, 27, of the 4200 block of Upview Terrace, Pittsburgh, is charged with three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Benjamin Dennis Bonaroti, 33, of the 300 block of Shaw Ave., Springdale, is charged with one count each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility (heroin).
Jarrel Laron Williams, of the 2000 block of Kenneth Ave., Arnold, is charged with one count each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance (heroin).
