Bellmawr Branch Library Offers New Hands-on Science Program for Kids

Curious Kids-Science Time for grades K – 3 to offer eight classes starting Dec. 6

VOORHEES, NJ – Nov. 28, 2016 – The Bellmawr branch of the Camden County Library System is starting a new, hands-on Science program for children in grades K – 3 that begins on Tuesday, Dec. 6 and will offer eight classes over the course of three months.
Curious Kids – Science Time classes are part of the library’s STEM /STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) program for curious learners.
Registration is required for each class and is available online at www.camdencountylibrary.org/events or by calling (856) 931-1400. Registration is generally available beginning three weeks in advance of the event date.
Classes will meet Tuesdays, 4 p.m. with the following schedule of topics:
December 6 - Water Experiments
December 13 - Squishy Circuits
December 20 - Pop Rock Science
January 17 - Do it Yourself Lava Lamp
January 24 - Slime Time
January 31 - Lemon Volcanos
February 7 - Elephant Toothpaste
February 21 - Magic Milk & Marbled Milk Paper
