500th Surgical Weight Loss Procedure Performed at Kennedy Health in 2016

Stratford, NJ – On November 28th, Jennifer Hall of Beverly, NJ, became the 500th patient in 2016 to undergo weight loss surgery at Kennedy University Hospital in Stratford, NJ. The Kennedy Center for Surgical Weight Loss – located at its Stratford hospital – is an accredited Comprehensive Center through the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). Kennedy’s program, one of the region’s most acclaimed and successful in helping people with obesity reclaim their health and lives, was established in early 2007. More than 2,700 area residents have undergone weight loss surgery at Kennedy over the past decade. Jennifer’s bariatric procedure was performed by the program’s Medical Director, Marc Neff, MD, FACS. Jennifer was presented with balloons, flowers and a supply of bariatric-specific nutritional supplements during her post-surgical hospital stay to mark the milestone.
