22-Year-Old Burlington Township Man Shot to Death Last Night in Burlington City


MOUNT HOLLY N.J. (November 26, 2016) - Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Burlington City Police Chief Alan R. Snow announced today that a man was fatally shot early yesterday evening in the 100 block of East Federal Street in Burlington City.

Howard G. Young, Jr., 22, whose address of record is Burlington Township, was outside yesterday at approximately 4:45 p.m. when he was shot by an unidentified male.

The victim was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he was pronounced dead last night. No arrests have been made. The weapon has not been recovered.

An autopsy will be performed today by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood to determine the cause and manner of death.

No additional details are being released at this point.
