Obituary: Mark B. Reader, age 33, of Philadelphia, formerly of Gloucester City

 

On October 27, 2016. Mark passed away. Formerly from Gloucester City. Obit_placeholder_03

Loving son of Alice Lippincott (nee Stranahan), loving brother of Shelly Lippincott and Debbie Reader. Beloved Uncle of Jared Russ. Beloved cousin of Lisa Stranahan-Murphy, Cassidy Kelly and Logun Kelly. Cherished godson of Alice Allsworth. 

Mark loved animals, nature, and poems. Despite everything, he was a strong man, for his beliefs. Mark had a passion for helping others in need. During the holidays he would cut hair at shelters, feed those in need of a meal. Mark loved reading books, poems and writing poems. Mark loved his ferrets, they were his children/world. Mark will be sadly missed, but will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, November  3, 2016 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 6:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
