Obituary: Lacy J. Sutton, Sr. age 77 of Gloucester City

 

 

On October 26, 2016. Age 77. Of Gloucester City. Born in Aliquippa, PA the son of the late Lacy 6a00d8341bf7d953ef01538eab2d72970b-320wiand Julia (Latone) Sutton. Lacy is survived by his beloved wife, Mary F. Sheridan; loving children, Kelly Mumford (Edward) of Seagertown, PA, Lacy J. Sutton, Jr. of Olympia, WA, Patrick Sutton of Pittsburgh, PA and Colleen Gordon Hinrichsen (Dave) of New Egypt, NJ; grandchildren, Heather Sunday (Jared), Jenna Danka (Jesse), Autumn Hampson (Chad), Griffin Hinrichsen and Nicholas Pope; great grandchildren, Drew, Harper, Delaney, Leyton, Macy, Mila and Maya. He is also survived by his brothers, Mark and Scott Sutton and sister, Jan Tarasi.

Lacy worked as area director for the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA in Wilmington, DE until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of the Gloucester City Cultural Arts and Heritage Society.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, October 31st  from  9:30 am to 11 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
