Atkinson Park Millennium Plaza, Sewell, NJ at 7:30 p.m.  August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day a global event held annually to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. These individuals come from all walks of life.  Gloucester County is not untouched.  We want to commemorate those who have lost their lives as well as help bring some sense of community to their families and friends so they realize they are never alone."

Jefferson said that the Gloucester County Addiction Task Force is recently formed and is comprised of community members that have been adversely impacted by addictions, or are working professionals in the field.
