GLOUCESTER CITY N.J. --The Gloucester City school district announced on Tuesday that there will be a emergency drill on Thursday, September 1, 2016. According to the notice at approximately 10:45AM, the staff of Gloucester City School District will be participating in an emergency management drill.
Emergency responders from the Gloucester City Police and Fire Departments as well as other emergency management personnel will be on site at Gloucester City High School to carry out this drill. This exercise will likely produce loud noises (including sirens, mock gun fire, explosions and shouting) and law enforcement and fire rescue activity in and around the High School. All of the activity will be part of the mock exercise and not an actual emergency.
All Gloucester City School buildings and grounds will be closed to visitors on Thursday, September 1 from approximately 10:30 AM until 12:45 PM.
