CNB CRIME: $50,000 Reward Offered for Killer of 8-Year-Old Camden City Girl

CAMDEN CITY N.J. AUGUST 28, 2016--The Camden County Police Department, Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Citizens Crime Commission of the Delaware Valley are now offering a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of 8-year-old Gabrielle Hill Carter – who died after being struck by gunfire just before 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, during a shooting on the 900 block of South 8th Street.

This substantial reward has been made possible thanks to contributions from several parties, including the Norcross family, whose contribution today raised the reward to $50,000. Also contributing are the firm Packetalk, which provides Eye in the Sky cameras and other public safety technology in Camden, and Vahan and Danielle Gureghian, the founders of CSMI, LLC, which manages Camden Community Charter School, where Danielle was about to enter third grade. The Gureghians are also paying for Gabrielle’s funeral expenses.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to immediately contact the Citizens Crime Commission; anonymous tips are accepted at (215) 546-TIPS or (877) 345-TIPS.
