The Gloucester City Police Department released the following statement regarding the outpouring of support the officers have received recently.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all of the support, kind words and gestures our officers have received and continue to receive on a daily basis. This has been a difficult time for our nations law enforcement officers and all of the support we receive is most appreciated. After receiving many requests for police supporter t-shirts from our residents, we now have one available for purchase. The t-shirts cost $15 for sizes small through X-large and $17 for XX-large. No childrens sizes are available at this time. All proceedes from the sales will be donated equally between the Gloucester City Police K-9 Fund and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. The t-shirts are available for purchase at Police Headquarters (313 Monmouth Street) during business hours.
