CAMDEN SHOOTING VICTIM SUCCUMBS TO HIS INJURIES

CAMDEN CITY JULY 1, 2016--Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a city man who was shot last week in Camden succumbed to his injuries last night.

Anthony Rosato, 53, of Camden, was pronounced deceased at approximately at 8:38 p.m. on Wednesday (6/29/16) at Cooper University Hospital.

On June 19, Camden County Police responded at approximately 2:19 a.m. to the 400 block of Washington Street in Camden in reference to a 911 call. Officers arrived and located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.  No arrests have been made at this time.
