With six runs in the first three innings, the Rams left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
An error and an RBI single by Lillo Paxia during the first inning and an error and an error in the second inning fueled the Rams' offense early.
It was a good day at the plate for the Rams' Evan Giordano. Giordano went 2-3 and scored three runs.
Gloucester Catholic's Eric Grafton's 10 strikeouts were enough to push the Rams past Trenton Catholic. Grafton allowed no earned runs on three hits and four walks over 6 1/3 innings.
Urban couldn't get it done on the hill for Trenton Catholic, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out one.
The Rams added two more runs in the bottom of the third. An error scored Paxia to get the Rams on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Jason Bobiak's single, bringing home Alex Krug.
Gloucester Catholic got one-run boosts in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth. In the fourth, the Rams scored on a groundout by Sam Punzi, plating Giordano.
