9 Rider Broncs MAAC All-Academic

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—Nine members of the Rider University softball team were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team it was announced Wednesday evening at the post-season awards banquet.

Seniors Montana Berg (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista), Samantha Judd (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake), Dana Sensi (Allentown) and Kim Valdes (Jupiter, Fla./King's Academy), juniors Morgan Benedetti (Ewing), Amanda Crimarco (Levittown, N.Y./Kellenberg) and Kaitlyn Kallert (Woodland Park/Passaic Valley) and sophomores Monica Clark (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) and Samantha Collura (Lambertville/Hopewell Valley Central) were all honored for a grade point average over a 3.20.

Clark is a Finance and Sports Management major with a 3.82 grade point average, Berg is an Accounting major with a 3.78 g.p.a., Collura is a Marketing major with a 3.77 grade point average, Valdes is a Biology major with a 3.63 g.p.a., and Kallert is a Communication major with a 3.40 grade point average.

Sensi is a Finance major with a 3.35 g.p.a., Crimarco is an Accounting major with a 3.33 grade point average, Benedetti is majoring in Biology with a 3.29 g.p.a., and Judd is majoring in Accounting and Finance with a 3.22 grade point average.

Rider returns 17 letterwinners for the 2017 season.
