Suspect Wanted for Armed Robbery in Chesilhurst

CAMDEN CITY N.J. (April 23, 2016)--The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Chesilhurst Police Department are seeking a man who committed an armed robbery in Chesilhurst on Thursday, April 21.

The robber entered the Valero Gas Station on the 400 block of the White Horse Pike approximately 9:58 p.m.  The suspect approached a worker outside at the gas station and pointed a firearm into the victim’s chest while demanding money. The suspect fled on foot into a wooded area.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a black male who stands approximately 6’0’’ tall.  He was wearing an orange face mask with a black jacket.
