Ewing, NJ …Senior Megan Devlin (Marmora, NJ/Ocean City) and freshman Michael Fischer (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville) were recognized by the New Jersey Athletic Conference for their performances during the week ending April 17, 2016.

Devlin contributed to a pair of wins for the second-ranked Lions’ lacrosse Michael_Fischersquad last week. She scored three goals and won five draw controls in a 15-0 victory over NJAC opponent Rutgers-Camden University. Devlin then played a key role in TCNJ’s thrilling, 8-7 comeback win over fourth-ranked Salisbury University. She assisted the Lions’ defense in allowing just two goals to the Sea Gulls in the second half. Devlin also scored twice and was NJAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Fischer tossed a complete-game shutout in a 3-0 win at Stockton University. He scattered five hits over nine innings for TCNJ. Fischer only faced 30 batters in the game, and was named NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week. The 17th-ranked Lions are now 23-4 on the season.
