Brooklawn Crime Report for March

3/1/16 Emilia Mariah Viera-Torres, 19, of Pennsauken was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, she was found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana. Manuel Rivera, 20, of Camden was also in the vehicle and was also found to be in possession of marijuana. They were both processed, charged with possession of marijuana under 50grams, and released with a municipal court date.
3/2/16 Officers responded to the Petco in the Brooklawn Shopping Center for a possible shoplifting in progress. Bradley Thomas Palmer, 24, of Gloucester City was stopped by officers and during the investigation, and originally provided officers with false information regarding his identity. He was arrested for hindering and was also found to have active warrants for his arrest. He was charged with hindering and released with new court dates.
3/3/16 Officers responded to the Rite Aid for a shoplifting. Eric Dean Visitacion, 30, of Westville and Harry Wayne Park, 32, of Westville attempted to conceal $248.00 worth of merchandise. The two were also found to have active warrants for their arrest. Both were charged with shoplifting, Mr. Visitacion was remanded to the Camden County Jail in default of bail, Mr. Park was released with a pending court date.
3/4/16 Taylor Lynne Hildebrand, 20, of Riverside was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, she was found to be in possession of a crack pipe and a bag of marijuana. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana under 50 grams. She was released with a pending municipal court date.
3/4/16 Bradley Thomas Palmer, 24, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine, a crack pipe, and a bag of marijuana. He was processed and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana under 50grams.
3/8/16 Kody Lee James Reilly, 19, West Berlin and Thomas Joseph Lista, 19, of Stratford, were stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through investigation, they were found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana. The two were charged with possession of marijuana under 50grams. Both were processed and released with a pending municipal court date.
3/9/16 Officers stopped a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, the driver was found to be providing officers with false information regarding her identity. After a brief investigation, officers determined the driver’s actual identity. Rhonda Dauphie Ratliff, 50, of Camden was found to have active warrants for her arrest, she was charged with hindering, processed, and released with court date.
3/10/16 Cortiz Lamar Lee, 28, of Lansdowne, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, he was found to have an active warrant out of Camden City. During the course of the arrest, the accused was found to have a bag of marijuana. He was charged with possession of marijuana under 50grams and turned over to Camden County Metro Pd.
3/11/16 Officers responded to the 400 Building at the Brooklawn Norse Apartments for someone in an abandoned apartment. The two suspects fled the scene on foot towards Rt. 130. Officers located two males matching the description in front of the Planet Fitness. Edward Nicholas Gotts, 20, of Mount Ephraim and Lamar Rashon Majette, 28, of Marlton were arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass and Criminal Mischief. The two were released with pending municipal court dates.
3/14/16 Officers went to the Red Carpet Inn Room 301 to serve a warrant. Robin Lee Exler, 26, of Deptford had an active warrant for her arrest out of Brooklawn. During the course of the arrest officers located hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia in her room. She was charged and released with new court dates.
3/15/16 Officers served a warrant on the 200 block of New Jersey. Christopher Michael Genay, 35, of Brooklawn was wanted out of Ocean County. The accused attempted to conceal a black bag containing narcotics into a couch. Inside the bag, the officers located two bags of heroin, a suboxone film, two prescription pills, and hypodermic needles. The accused was charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles. He was turned over to Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
3/19/16 Ryan J. Zirbser, 25, of Sewell was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation officers located suboxone films that were not prescribed to him. He was processed and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
3/19/16 Tyler T. Callaway, 19, of Wenonah was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, the driver was found to be operating the motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He was charged with driving under the influence and released to a sober adult.
3/20/16 Juliet Marie Piccone, 25, of Collingswood was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Through further investigation, she was found to be in possession of a crack cocaine. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
3/20/16 Officers responded to an emotionally disturbed person on the 400 block of Crescent Blvd. During the course of the interaction between the male and the officers, the male became combative and refused to listen to the officer’s commands. John Thomas Howarth, 40, of Gloucester City and William Edward Collins, 47, of Brooklawn were arrested. Both were charged with disorderly conduct (violent behavior) and resisting arrest. Collins was also charged with obstruction.
3/24/16 Officers stopped a motor vehicle for a moving violation in the area of Rt. 130 and King’s Hwy. During the course of the investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of heroin, cocaine, a suboxone film, and a prescription pill. The driver was arrested and charged. After being released officers determined that the driver of the vehicle had provided them with a false identity. Officers eventually tracked down the female to a residence in Audubon. Colleen Lynne Dean, 27, of Bellmawr, was arrested for hindering and charged on new complaints from the initial stop. She was charged with 4 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering.
