CNB CRIME: Lindenwold Police Charge Martin A. Thomas of Winslow with Multiple Counts of Burglary

press release

On February 22, 2016 Lindenwold Police Officers were dispatched to the Quick Food Store located on North Berlin Road for a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival Officers observed a male inside of the store which was closed to business at the time. The male was actively trying to force his way out of the store. The Officers made entry into the store and arrested the male without incident. The male was later identified as Martin A. Thomas, 39 year old male, of Winslow Township.

Subsequent investigation determined that the male had gained entry into the store via the roof and had removed money from a cash register. The male was then unable to exit the store and became locked inside until Officers arrived. The suspect later confessed to Detectives his involvement in 4 other commercial burglaries and one criminal mischief incident; all of which occurred in the Borough of Lindenwold.

The suspect was charged with all of the Burglaries and remanded to Camden County Jail default of bail.
