Stacey S. Upshaw-Goree of Lindenwold Arrested for Possession of over Five ounces Heroin

(CNBNewsnet--STRATFORD N.J. (February 17, 2016)At 2:28am, Friday morning Stratford Police stopped a motorist on Warwick Road for speeding and equipment violations. Further investigation revealed the below subject to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested for DWI and found to be in possession of 560 pouches of heroin with a street value of $10,000. The narcotics were recovered from the glove compartment of the vehicle.
Seized in the arrest was over $300 in United States currency and a 2009 Buick Lucerne. The suspect, was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility after failing to post $90,000.00 cash bail. The matter is pending review in Central Judicial Processing in Camden. On the days following Upshaw-Goree's arrest, Stratford Police Detective Bureau executed a court ordered search warrant and recovered an additional 77 pouches of Heroin concealed in a secret compartment area of the vehicles dashboard.
