Joint Investigation Leads to Arrest of Convenience Store Robbery Crew

Gloucester Township Police Media Release:
Between November 11th 2015 and December 16th 2015, the Gloucester Township Police Department investigated three robberies where either a single male or group of males threatened the victim with a knife.
The robberies occurred at the Church Street 7-11 store on December 2nd and 16th as well as a pizza delivery driver at a nearby apartment complex on November 11th. During the investigation, information was received that linked the crimes to similar crimes that were committed in Washington Township. A joint investigation was then initiated with the Gloucester Township Police and Washington Township Police Investigations Bureau’s. A Gloucester Township Police crime stoppers video was also released to the public in an effort to assist in identifying the suspects.
Based on a tip received from the crime stoppers video, a suspect was developed for the robberies in Gloucester Township and Washington Township. Detectives from both departments worked jointly to identify the additional suspects in each incident. Their collaborative efforts in the investigation led to the apprehension of three adult males and one juvenile male. Rickey Smith, Tyreek James and Simieon Alicia were remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in lieu of posting bail. The juvenile male was remanded the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.
