Brooklawn PD Arrest Numerous Suspects for Violation of Illegal Drug Possession Etc.

(CNBNEWSNET)--BROOKLAWN N.J. (February 17, 2016) January 1 Zachary J. Letchford, 19, of Clementon was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the motor vehicle stop the
officer located a small clear bag containing marijuana on the floor board
behind the driver. Mr. Letchford was placed under arrest and was also
found to be in possession of a small metal grinder. He was charged with
possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after being issued his municipal court
date and driving summonses.
January 5- During the course of a motor vehicle stop the driver was found to
be providing police with false information regarding her true identity.
As a result she was placed under arrest and brought back to police
headquarters to determine her true identity. Zorna Neari Rodriquez, 46,
of Glassboro was found to have numerous warrants for her arrest. She was
charged with hindering her own apprehension and then turned over to Rowan
Pd for a warrant out of their jurisdiction.
January 8-- Officers were at the Swap Shop in Brooklawn investigating a
report of stolen property. During the course of the investigation Andre
Stanley Parlak, 23, of Sewell was found to have outstanding warrants for
his arrest. Through further investigation the accused was also found to
have a hypodermic needle and blue wax paper in his waist band. He was
charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug
paraphernalia.
January 8--Officers responded to the Motel 6 for a report of a fight in room
138. While in the room officers located two pieces of crack cocaine on
the table. Mark Anthony Mchugh, 52, of Bellmawr was arrested and charged
with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released with
a Superior Court Date.
January 9--Chistian Antonio Jerez-Calderon, 27, of Camden was stopped for a
motor vehicle violation. The accused was found to have an active warrant
for his arrest. Through further investigation he was found to be in
possession of a clear vile with marijuana inside. He was placed under
arrest and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was
released with new municipal court dates.
January 10-- During a directed patrol at the Motel 6 officers located Megan
Elizabeth Malone, 35, of Brooklawn who had active warrants for her arrest.
Officers also located a hypodermic needle, a crack pipe, a metal spoon
with white residue on it, and copper wire inside of her purse. She was
charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and drug paraphernalia.
January 11--During the course of a motor vehicle stop the driver provided the
officer with false information regarding her identity. She was arrested
and transported back to police headquarters. Through further
investigation officers identified the suspect as Jessica Lynn Good, 23, of
Wenonah. The accused was also found to be in possession of 5 hypodermic
needles, and numerous pieces of wax paper. The accused was also found to
be wanted out of the Burlington County Sheriffs Department. She was
charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and drug paraphernalia and
remanded to the Camden County Jail to await transport to Burlington County
Jail.
January 18-- Officers observed Austin Edward Carey, 18, of Brooklawn on the
Motel 6 property where the accused was informed earlier in the month that
he was no longer allowed. He was charged with defiant trespass and
released with a municipal court date.
January 19-- Officers stopped Dorothy May Eagland, 41, of Delran in that area
of Browning Lane and Bergen Street for screaming and cursing while walking
down the street. She was found to have active warrants and placed under
arrest. Through further investigation she was found to be in possession of
crystal meth. She was charged with possession of a control dangerous
substance and disorderly conduct.
January 20-- Brian Michael Jernigan, 42, of Bellmawr was arrested for
shoplifting at the Rite Aid. The accused attempted to conceal a pack of
tooth brushes valued at $35.00. The accused was also found to have
numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was issued a summons for
the shoplifting and remanded to the Camden County Jail after failing to
post bail on his other warrants.
January 24-- During the course of a suspicious motor vehicle stop in the rear
of the Motel 6 Parking Lot, officers arrested Starr Erica Scipione, 44, of
Maple Shade for active warrants. Also in the vehicle was a Keith Foster
Schreffler, 43, of Gloucester City. Through further investigation the two
were found to have a hypodermic needle loaded with heroin. Keith was also
in possession of 4 bags of heroin and empty wax paper. Starr was also in
possession of a Lorazepam pill and empty blue wax paper. Both were
charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance , drug
paraphernalia, and a hypodermic needle.
January 27-- John Ellison Rink, 32, of Gloucester City was stopped for having
active warrants. Through further investigation he was found to be in
possession of an empty zip lock bag with marijuana residue inside. He was
remanded to the Camden County Jail in default of bail.
