Illegal Alien from Guatemala Arrested in Woodbury on Child Sex Assault Charge


WOODBURY NJ (DECEMBER 12, 2015) CNBNewsnet--Juan Campos-Morales (5-26-82), of Woodbury, was arrested Friday (12/11) on charges of sexually assaulting a child under age 16 on multiple occasions in Woodbury in 2014 and 2015.

Campos-Morales is being held in the Salem County Jail in default of $250,000 bail.

Disclosure of the alleged abuse was initially made to a Woodbury school teacher. Campos-Morales was arrested by officers of the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and the Woodbury Police Department.

Federal immigration authorities have been notified of the arrest of Campos-Morales, a native of Guatemala who is believed to have been living illegally in the United States.

The suspect is presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
