Pennsylvania State Police Alert: Two inmates have escaped from Quehanna Boot Camp

SECOND CAMDEN CITY HOMICIDE IN TWO DAYS

CAMDEN CITY NJ --Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Unknown (1)Chief Scott Thomson reported a homicide in the city last night.

Camden County Police responded at approximately 10:43 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 to a residence on the 2600 block of Cramer Street in Camden for a 911 call about a gunshot victim.

Officers arrived and located the victim, Jared Clark, 26, of Camden, lying on the floor in his residence. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.

This is the second murder in two days. On Thursday, October 29 Camden County Police were dispatched at approximately 12:13 a.m. to the area of 10th Street and Atlantic Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter activation alerting police to gunshots.

Officers arrived and found the victim, William Alvarez, 25, of Camden, in the driver’s seat of a car.  He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:39 a.m.
