CNB Hunting/Fishing New Jersey: Time Running Out To Submit Angler Survey

The New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife is conducting this 20 minute on-line survey to obtain angler feedback concerning warmwater/coolwater fishing experiences in New Jersey. The information collected will be used to guide future management and regulation decisions.

Unlike previous surveys, this survey is specifically designed to account for varying levels of fishing interests and experience so no matter if you are the occasional angler fishing just a couple times a year or the hard core fishing fanatic please complete the survey as angler input at all levels is important.

Please have your Fishing License Number (CID#) handy before beginning the survey. Your CID# is the 9 digit number found on your license. This information, as well as your zip code, will only be used to assure that each angler responds only once. At no time will answers of specific individuals to specific questions be viewed.

The survey is set up so if you are uncertain of a question, or change your mind to a previous response you may return to a previous question and modify your original response. Once a survey is completed, however, all answers are final. Once your completed survey is submitted you will be unable to review your responses.

It is imperative to the success of this survey that each angler responds to the survey only ONCE.

The results of this survey will be presented at an upcoming Fisheries Forum. The Division greatly appreciates your time in participating in the survey and your interest in guiding the future of freshwater fishing in New Jersey.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you are a resident angler over the age of 70, and have previously purchased a license through the Division's automated license system you can use the CID number from the last license you purchased. If you no longer have that information or it has been more than 6 years since you have been required to purchase a license in New Jersey please call the Bureau of Freshwater Fisheries at (908) 236-2118 or e-mail the Bureau at [email protected] to obtain a temporary CID # for the purposes of this survey. As life long anglers we are very interested in your input in New Jersey's warmwater/coolwater programs.
