Nathan James Worrell, of Thorofare, Served in the Air Force and Coast Guard, GCHS Alumnus

Legacy
A strong willed yet caring gentleman, Nate had a quick witted sense of humor and enjoyed making others smile. He was outgoing and friendly but most importantly, Nate was devoted to his family. He also enjoyed playing golf and camping.

Born in Swedesboro, NJ, Nate was a resident of Thorofare for 47 years. He was a longtime and active parishioner of St. Matthews Church. A proud American, Nate serviced his country in the Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the US Coast Guard for 36 years. Nate was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Woodbury, Ancient Order of Hibernians of Thorofare and the US Coast Guard Plank Owner Club. He was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School. 

Family
Beloved husband of 49 years to Barbara (nee Settar); devoted father of Barbara (Mark) Cooper and Jennifer (Chris) Micaletti; cherished grandfather of Bridgette, Beth (Rob) and Ryan Cooper and Stella Micaletti; great grandfather of Samantha, Jeremy, Auben and Isla; dear brother of Sharon (Terry) Kaufman, Thomas (Dolores) Worrell, Joseph (Terry) Worrell and Mary Ann (John) Grasso. Nate is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Farewell Ceremony
Relatives and Friends are invited to Nate’s viewing on Friday, 6:30 – 9:00 PM and Saturday, 8:15 – 9:15 AM at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Parish at St. Matthews Church, 4th and Monument Avenue, National Park, NJ. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ.
