One of the terminals at Newark Liberty International Airport was evacuated and locked down for more than an hour Sunday after a man went through an exit door and into a secure area. NJ.com says the man was detained by federal agents, turned over to Port Authority police, and the terminal was reopened later that evening.

Wall Street credit-rating agencies still see no reason to raise NJ's low grades, despite a string of positive economic news in recent months. NJ Spotlight says NJ shouldn't expect to see its standing improve any time soon thanks to longstanding fiscal issues that remain key trouble spots, including the underfunded public-employee pension system and a struggling state economy.
DRIVERS IN NEW JERSEY FALL FOR LOW GAS PRICES
Filling up at the pump hasn't been this sweet in a long time. WNYC says gas prices in New Jersey are significantly lower than the national average – some parts of the state have even dropped below two dollars a gallon. AAA attributes the drop in prices to sagging crude oil prices, and says the drop should hold steady into the fall.
