CNB MEDICAL: Kennedy FastCare Clinic Now Open in Audubon, NJ, ACME Store
Wednesday, August 26, 2015
Audubon, NJ – The first-ever Kennedy Health FastCare clinic is now open inside the ACME location in Audubon, NJ, (100 N. Black Horse Pike). This new FastCare clinic offers convenient, economical healthcare services for the treatment of minor medical conditions and symptoms – including sore throats, fevers, flu and colds, ear and sinus infections, conjunctivitis ("pink eye"), skin rashes and allergies. FastCare services are provided by Kennedy Health professionals, but you don’t have to be a Kennedy patient to take advantage of this convenient service --- just someone who wants basic medical care without the wait.
"Providing high-quality, economical and easy-to-access care is important to Kennedy as we continually focus on the needs of our community members," said President & CEO Joseph W. Devine. "This partnership helps us efficiently serve the South Jersey community in a new way."
FastCare takes walk-in patients only, but wait times are typically brief. Reports can be sent to a patient’s primary care physician following each visit, prescriptions are immediately sent to ACME’s pharmacy (or a patient’s preferred pharmacy), and physician referrals are made when a patient’s symptoms exceed the clinic’s scope of services.
"Kennedy FastCare fits perfectly with ACME’s expertise in retail health, which includes our pharmacies and healthcare products," said Audubon ACME Store Manager Mike Ciocco. "This concept increases accessibility to healthcare at a low, set cost – adding value for our customers and today’s busy families."
The Audubon-based Kennedy FastCare clinic is open to the public on the following days and times:
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Holidays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (closed Christmas Day).
Most insurances are accepted, and office visit co-pays apply.
