MOODY FIELD EWING NJ July 30, 2015 (CNBNewsnet)--The American Legion Baseball state championship games were played after an hour and a half rain delay at Moody Field, Ewing, on July 30, 2015, with Flemington squaring off against defending National Champion Brooklawn.  NJ State Commander Mike Babli threw out the first pitch strike. Flemington won the first game, forcing a second for the championship. Brooklawn prevailed 9 to 6 shortly after midnight, earning their sixth straight State Championship. Commander Babli and Frank Calandrillo, state baseball chair, presented awards after the game and a bat bag courtesy of Diamond Sports.

Brooklawn's Tyler Mondile was named tournament Most Valuable Player.
