After more than 20 years, the PECO Multicultural Series once again enlivens
the Waterfront starting this Sunday
PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 1, 2015) – The PECO Multicultural Series helps to kick off a packed summer of events at the waterfront. With nine different events, which represent Philadelphia’s global cultures, the PECO Multicultural Series is unique in its breadth, attendance, diversity, and educational outreach. Starting with the Irish American Festival this Sunday, and ending with Brazilian Day Philadelphia in September, this series fills the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing with cultural food, dance, arts, music and more. This entire series is made possible by the generous support of PECO.

WHERE: Every multicultural event occurs at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, located at 101 S. Columbus Blvd. at Chestnut Street. Penn’s Landing has convenient adjacent parking lots, and can be easily accessed by public transit and by the RiverLink Ferry.
DETAILS: The annual PECO Multicultural Series has celebrated Philadelphia’s diverse cultures for over 20 years. All events are FREE, family friendly, and open to the public.
