An investigation by WNYC has revealed that black children are four times more likely than white children to enter foster care in New Jersey. The investigation showed that 41 percent of those entering foster care in NJ are black, despite the fact that black children make up just 14 percent of children in the state.
COUNTY POLICE FORCE IS A HARD SELL TO MUNICIPALITIES
Camden County has been trying to expand its police force beyond the city of Camden, but most of the other 36 municipalities in the county don't want any part of it. Philly.com says the municipalities feel that replacing their local police departments with a county-run department would erase their local identities, as well as the relationships between officers and residents.

FBI CLEARS THREE FLIGHTS AT NEWARK AIRPORT AFTER THREATS
The FBI says it has "cleared" three flights that landed at Newark Liberty International Airport Monday after threats were reportedly made against the aircraft, reports the Associated Press. The FBI also checked threats against three more flights that were scheduled to land at JFK International Airport. All flights were cleared and no anomalies or weapons were found onboard the aircraft.
