Kennedy – Stratford Hospital Staff Volunteer to Beautify Local Landmark

Stratford, NJ --Staff members from Kennedy University Hospital in Stratford, NJ – including hospital Chief Administrative Officer Bob Aulicino (4th from right, top row)and Chief Nursing Officer Marianne Kraemer, MSN, RN (4th from left, front row) --  gave up some of their free time over the Memorial Day holiday weekend to beautify the Stratford, NJ, Borough War Memorial at the intersection of Union Avenue and East Laurel Road. The Kennedy – Stratford associates, pictured, decided to undertake this community outreach project to tie with the hospital’s upcoming 50th anniversary celebration, in June 2015. Kennedy Nurse Manager Bill Quick (4thfrom left, top row) spearheaded the effort by recruiting associates to take part; about 25 employees and their family members helped out. Kennedy donated $10,000 in materials for the beautification project, which included paving, landscaping and planting of flowers and plants at the monument, which honors those who served in World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
