Philly Photo Day Exhibit 

Center City District has partnered with the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center to create a unique walkthrough exhibit along the 15th Street Walkway in Dilworth Park. Over 1,900 photos from Philly Photo Day 2014 are showcased on the sidewalks, letting you appreciate the beauty of the city, while strolling through it.

History Makers

On June 3, during Live @ Lunch, greet the History Makers, where favorite characters from the Once Upon A Nation stories come to life, and hear moving readings from the Declaration of Independence.

Curtis Institute Performance

Have your lunch at Dilworth Park and enjoy a performance by two recent graduates of the world-renowned Curtis Institute of Music. Performing will be violinist Ren Martin-Doike and classical guitarist Jiyeon Kim.

Every week this summer, come to Sister Cities Park for BYO Thursdays. Take a seat at one of the tables inside or outside the cafe or bring a blanket and find a favorite spot under a tree or on the grass. Logan Square Café will offer a special summer grilling menu. Make it a romantic evening, a girls' night out, or bring the whole family and enjoy the Children's Discovery Garden; Plus, there's live music every week!

Story Art 

Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Free Library of Philadelphia for a nature-inspired story and craft. A new nature theme - frogs, flowers, fish and more - will be featured each week as kids discover the fun of being read to outdoors and creating their own make-and-take nature craft. Free.

Historic Philadelphia Storytelling

The Once Upon A Nation program has transported adults and children alike back in time with true stories of Philadelphia's past. Now it's your chance to create and tell your stories! Kids 7-12 are invited to write and submit a story on the theme, "My History Hero or Heroine." Share your stories with the public after a fun day of training with Once Upon A Nation storytellers. John F. Collins Park

John F. Collins Park is a small quiet oasis off busy Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a relaxing spot for lunch, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful day. Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation, the Center City District has restored the park's fountain, benches, landscaping and lighting. John F. Collins Park is owned and operated by Center City District.
