The sweep improves to Pioneers to 22-9-1 overall and 9-5 in the NJAC, while Rutgers-Camden falls to 17-11-1 and 7-7.

Raptor junior Brittany Scott (Buena, NJ/Buena Regional) and Pioneer senior Kerrin Dys (North Arlington, NJ/North Arlington) were locked in the scoreless duel until the bottom of the fourth inning, when William Paterson loaded the bases with no outs on three straight singles. The Scarlet Raptors nearly escaped the jam with a force at the plate and a strikeout, before junior left fielder Kelsey Wimmershoff (Park Ridge, NJ/Park Ridge) unloaded a grand slam to left field.

Paterson added its final run in the fifth inning on a triple by senior center fielder Kelsey Principe (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) and a RBI single by sophomore shortstop Rachel Wasilak (Livingston, NJ/Livingston).

Dys (4-1) finished with a two-hit shutout, walking two and striking out six. She allowed only singles by freshman Taylor Nichols (Barrington, NJ/Haddon Heights) and Samantha Sandridge (Friendswood, TX/Friendswood).

Scott (13-9) took the loss, allowing eight hits, five earned runs and one walk in six innings. She fanned five.
